Description
These charming toast racks created from a series of hearts are as popular and collectible as ever and at home on the desk-top just as often as on the breakfast table. They make wonderfully romantic desk-top accessories to hold letters, bills, business cards and the like.Made from English sterling silver, this one is a little more unusual than the norm with charming little legs rather than the normal ball feet. The handle too is in the shape of heart joined to the body with a large silver sphere.
The hallmark is good and crisp for Birmingham 1904, making this a true Edwardian example. The makers initials are also present W.H.H for William Hair Haseler.
Excellent condition measuring 3 3/4" x 2 1/8" x 4 1/4" tall and weighing 2.06 Troy Ounces or 64.3 Grams.
