antique english silver plated tea caddy knife box shape

Description

A wonderful and very unusual silver plated tea caddy in the form of a Georgian knife box with it's shaped form and sloped lid.
The lid is lucky enough to retained it's original very regal looking armorial crest.
Just back from our silversmiths workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.
The underside is fully marked for with the makers mark (WA), possibly for William Adams?? and marked with a trade mark and "England".
Excellent condition measuring 3 5/8" x 3 5/8" x 3 5/8" at rear. Late Victorian or early Edwardian in era, dating to c.1890/1900.
