antique english sterling silver guilloche enamel pill box 1911

Description

Celebrating it's 100th birthday this year, a wonderfully decorative pill box made from sterling silver & hallmarked for Birmingham 1911.
The lid is beautifully decorative with a central Amethyst coloured pane of guilloche enamel and surrounded with a white enamel border with an attractive engine turned design beneath.
The lid fits well and once removed reveals the original gilding within. Excellent condition, with a couple of rough spots to the white enamel edge only really seen with a magnifying glass. An absolute joy, measuring 1 1/4" in diameter.
