Description

A stunning grand grape stand which would create a magnificent show on the sideboard or on the dining table, with plump bunches of grapes hanging from the figural grape and vine central stand. I have a similar one, which I fill the dish with fruits and nuts at a dinner party.
The handles too have a grapevine design and four feet in the same genre.
The underside is marked by the Sheffield silversmith, James Shaw & Fisher and dates to the Victorian era, around 1880.
Excellent condition, measuring 14" handle to handle x 8"; standing 10 1/2" to top of stand.
