Description
A stunning set six figural hunting stirrup cups in silver plate, made by the iconic Italian designer, Mauro Manetti.The six cups are in the form of animal heads:
Fox, Horse, Stag, Dog, Boar and Hare
Each is signed M/M and "Italy".
The set was rather dull so they have just returned from my silversmith's workshop where they have been professionally cleaned, re-plated and polished, restoring them to their former glory.
Dating to c.1970, they all remain in very good condition with minor wear commensurate with age and use; measuring approximately 3 3/4" x 3" x 5 3/4" tall (Hare).
