A fabulous and highly collectable snuff / pill / ring box by the highly sought-after maker, Sampson Mordan & Co. of London.
The box is modelled in the form of a Walnut beautifully crafted to be expected by this venerable silversmith.
The box is hinged in full working order and retaining it's lavishly gilded interior. Fully hallmarked for London 1899, Victorian in era; together with the makers mark.
Superb condition measuring 2" 1 1/2" x 1 5/8" and weighing 33.3 Grams / 1.07 Troy Ounces.
