Description
A most unusual example of a mid-century modern multi-functional box by the iconic fashion house, Gucci.Made from silver plate the box itself has a brushed satin finish with the lid mounted with a polished Equestrian style mount incorporating a stirrup and stitched leather straps with the famous double "G" logo in gold plate.
The box opens to reveal a dark wooden lining to the the base, perfect to store almost anything. The side is engraved with "Gucci Italy".
The box is lucky enough to come in it's original Gucci presentation box (age stains) covered in the double "G" logo.
Excellent (near mint) condition measuring 7" x 4 1/2" x 1". Dating to c.1970.
