A rare find, most of the silver items designed by the iconic fashion house, Hermes, were made in silver plate, still highly sought-after and highly collectable. This piece however is rare example made from French solid sterling silver sporting the 1st title Minerva head mark in all three pieces (the front, the back and the golf ball).Made by the top-notch silversmith Ravinet d'Enfert signed both on the back and on the golf ball together with the luxury artisan house, Hermes.
The spring is strong and all in perfect working order. Superb condition measuring 4 1/2" x 2" x 1 3/4" and weighing a hefty 259 grams / 8.35 Troy Ounces. The ultimate in desk accessories dating to c.1980
