Description

A fabulous large hip of liquor flask, looking like it has been tucked away for the best part of the last 100 years as the condition is as close to mint as you could expect.
The hinged lid and removable drinking cup are made from silver plate with matching makers marks for the well renowned quality silversmith, James Dixon & Sons. The interior of the cup and the interior of the lid both retain their original gilding, still in excellent condition. The inside of the lid is fitted with a cork to keep the precious contents from spoiling or evaporating.
The crocodile or alligator skin covering to the top of the flask, is in excellent condition with a great shiny patina and in undamaged condition.
A fabulous piece, in pristine condition dating to around 1910; measuring 6" tall x 3 3/4" wide and holds 3/8 Pint.
