A wonderful large cake stand, very popular currently with the craze for home baking and particularly cup cakes!
This three tier example has the three original and very decorative plates, each pierced or reticulated around the edge, each signed by the top English silversmith, Mappin & Webb and bears the Princes Plate mark / London & Sheffield.
The stand is solid and in fine condition as are the three plates. The stand measures 16 tall to top of decorative handle and each plate has a diameter measuring 8".
