Description

A sensational desk-top accessory, made from the most exquisite piece of burr Walnut with it's highly decorative figuring and rich toffee colouring which only comes with age. The wood has been professionally re-polished to showcase this fabulous timber.
The stand sits on it's original four turned Walnut bun feet and has an enormous pen tray incorporated to the front (pen not included - for photography only), and the unusual inclusion of a fairly large box in between the inkwells, which would have been to stores all sorts of desk-top paraphernalia, such as nibs, sealing wax, a personalized seal and the like.
The inkwells are perfect, huge pieces of crystal with decorative cutting to the undersides, shoulders and tops, with the hinges in excellent shape.
A grand accessory in superb condition, measuring 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" and each inkwell measuring 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" tall.
