Description

A really very decorative magnifying glass which would look splendid on the grandest of desk-tops.
The highly decorative handle is a good Victorian one, made from solid or sterling silver, with a cartouche each side, the front having a decorative " E " engraved on it. The silver ferrule is where the hallmark for Birmingham 1896 can be found.
The magnifier itself is of course new (by Hilkinson), making it quite usable today with a crystal clear lens and good magnification.
A good large size measuring 7 1/4" in length, the glass having a diameter of 3".
