Description

A stunning quality antique Egg Cruet for six, beautifully cast with a pierced or reticulated gallery decorating the shaped outline.
The six egg cups are lavishly gilded inside and each again decorated with a pierced border. Each sits on it's own cast pin to prevent them from moving. The set comes complete with six egg spoons each held in place with the bowl slotting into a crescent shaped cut-out.
This piece dates to around 1880 and remains in superb condition. 7 1/2" in diameter x 9 1/2" tall.
