Description

A beautiful Victorian sterling silver pill box, an unusual and very tactile shape with all over repousse or embossed decoration.
The hinged lid fits perfectly with a small tab at the front to assist in the easy opening. The interior reveals a lavishly gilded finish.
The silver is of course hallmarked, for Birmingham 1899, making this a true Victorian example.
Excellent condition, measuring 1 1/4" max in diameter x 7/8" deep. Weighs 11.1 grams or 0.35 Troy Ounces.
