Description
For the equestrian collector or horse racing devotee, this figural cruet set is quite the charmer.
The base is a horseshoe shape with a spur terminal on the handle. At the front is an upturned Jockey's cap as an open salt with a gilded interior. The mustard and pepper are in the form of riding boots, the mustard pot complete with the original spoon with riding crop handle.
The underside has a full mark for the silversmith, Richard Hodd & Son of London. Excellent condition, measuring 4" across x 6 1/2" including handle x 3" at tallest point.
