Description

A really fabulous example of these highly sought-after and hard to find Binoculars / Opera Glasses with three lenses changed by the wheel at the side and indicated across the bridge labelled " Theatre ", " Field " and " Marine ".
Both eye pieces are signed LeMaire Fabt Paris together with a couple of little bees (the signature for LeMaire); there is also a bee engraved on the wheel on the side together with a patent number.
They are beautifully clad in leather and have been painstakingly professionally polished to create a great looking instrument, all in excellent working condition. They come with a basic leather case, with wear but original. 4 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" extending to 4 1/4".
