A wonderful pair of George V sauce boats, beautifully shaped in sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1935. The makers mark is also clearly visible for the well renowned Adie Brothers.
Each stands on three attractive hoof style feet and each has a beautiful handle; they are a good gauge silver with a good combined weight of 7.29 Troy Ounces or 226.1 Grams.
Although assayed in England, these were destined to be retailed in Scotland, with one of the pair having been stamped with the Scottish retailer's signature, "Wilson & Sharp Ltd. Edinburgh".
Excellent condition with a rim measurement of 3 1/4" x 5" or 6" handle to spout.
