A simply stunning photograph frame in a beautiful Art Nouveau design incorporating the highly sought-after Reynold's Angels design.The oval panel to the bottom features all five winged cherubs and the other circular panels featuring individual Angels.
The panels are interspersed with intricate stylized floral and foliate work in a very Art Nouveau design.
Once the hallmarks are identified, it confirms the magnificent quality, made by the top-notch London silversmith, William Comyns. The hallmark also shows the silver assayed in London in the year 1897, a true Victorian gem.
Excellent condition, measuring 8 1/4" x 7 1/4" at widest with a glazed aperture for your favourite picture, measuring 5 1/4" (max) x 3 3/4".
