Description

A delightful little jewelry box made from English sterling silver in a beautiful shape standing on three legs.
The lid is slightly domed and decorated with a series of engine turned vertical lines creating a most appealing striped design, with a central circular vacant cartouche. All of this is framed by an attractive beaded edge.
The lid fits well and once opens revealing a lavishly gilded interior. The box has been professionally re-lined in a velvet, clean and fresh, ready for use.
The box is hallmarked for Birmingham 1922 together with the makers initials S&Co for Sydney & Co.
Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/2" x 2 5/8" x 1 3/4" tall.
