Rarely found, this is a really wonderful wine cooler or Champagne cooler with very grand English Lion's heads on the side with ring handles.
Not only is this a very usable antique, it is made by one of England's most sought-after silversmith's, Walker & Hall of Sheffield with a full mark on the underside, including the date symbol for the year 1901, making this a late Victorian / early Edwardian example.
Excellent condition, ready to be filled with ice; measuring 8 1/2" tall with a rim diameter measuring 8" and a base diameter measuring 5 3/4".
