Dating to the early twentieth century, these English Burr Cedar boxes are always a popular choice with their fabulous decorative qualities.
Covered in rich nutty Burr Cedar, the domed lid is cross banded with Tulipwood framed with a Boxwood stringing.
The lid opens to reveal the interior which has been re-lined in a stunning hand marbelled paper creating a fresh finish ready to use.
Very versatile whether you choose to use if for Jewellery, cufflinks and change, pens and other desk paraphernalia or old photographs ... excellent condition, measuring 8 1/2"4 3/4" x 2" tall; the interior measures 7 1/2" x 4".
