A striking magnifying glass, as useful as beautiful. The attractive sterling silver handle with a Peacock Feather design is hallmarked for London 1887, Victorian in era. The makers initials WC are also present for the top-notch London silversmith, William Comyns, the sought-after Queen Victoria's head duty mark is also present.
The magnifier itself is of course new (by Hilkinson) with it's nickel frame, a good magnification, with a perfect undamaged glass and ready to use everyday.
Excellent condition, measuring 8 1/2" in length with a glass diameter of 4".
