Description

A fabulous antique English picture frame, made from sterling silver and the most sought-after colour of guilloche enamel, powder pink.
The pink enamel showcases the intricate engine turned basket-weave decoration bordered both edges with a gold coloured line decoration.
The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1913, so exactly 100 years old this year and also bears the makers initials LE for the silversmith, Lawrence Emanuel.
The backing is original solid Oak with a folding easel stand. Excellent condition (a minor little ding to the silver on the side, mentioned purely for accuracy) measuring 4 3/8" in diameter with a glazed aperture measuring 3 5/8".
