A handsome and very stylish pair of Old Sheffield Plate meat or food domes, each retaining their original Armorial or family crest with the Latin motto "Paratus Sum" meaning Always Prepared.
Dating to around 1820 both retain their silver plating and in superb condition with minor dents and bruises commensurate with age, mentioned purely for accuracy and quite insignificant.
16" x 11 1/2" x 9" tall to top of handles.
