The top is inset with a stunning piece of period tortoiseshell with beautiful markings and colours ranging from golden champagne to rich chocolate brown; the shell inlaid with the most charming pique inlay surrounding a central cartouche.
The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1919, together with the makers initials L & S for the silversmith, Levi & Salaman.
Excellent condition measuring 2 1/4" in diameter and standing 1 1/2" tall.
