Description

A wonderfully charming late Victorian butter dish made from a hefty piece of English crystal with smart cutting around the sides.
The collar, lid and swing handle are all silver plated. The underside of the lid has a full English mark for LINGARD & BAKER of Sheffield. Of course what makes this a particularly special dish is the charming modelled cow which acts as a handle to the lid.
Excellent condition, the base measuring 5 1/2" in diameter and the lid measures 4 1/8" in diameter; the dish stands 4" tall to top of handle.
