Description
A wonderful and very useful Victorian silver plated salver or tray, standing on grand ball and claw feet.
The top is beautifully decorated with intricate engraving surrounding a central cartouche, containing an original single "H" initial.
The underside is lucky enough to have both the makers mark and an English registration lozenge. The maker is the quality well-renowned silversmith, James Dixon & Sons and the registration mark is for September 4th, 1870.
Excellent condition, measuring 12" in diameter.
