Description

Dating to around 1900, it is very, very unusual to come across a set of late Victorian Dominoes made with this combination of materials. Each tile is made from solid Ebony, the spots all created from Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell. Each side of the domino is separated with an inlaid pewter stringing.
The set is contained in it's original wooden box, a couple of the dominoes have a minor nibble, all can only be considered in excellent condition.
Each tile measures 1 3/4" x 7/8"; the box measures 7" x 2 1/2" x 2".
