I only ever buy these in perfect condition, or as near to perfect as possible, this one falls into that category, see also item # 35886 for another we have for sale.
The box unscrews and reveals the wax seal inside together with the crisp and clean original label: " John Warwick, Engraver To the Royal Family. No. 145 opposite Catherine Street, Strand. A Variety of Gold Seals & Chains ".
Dating to around 1830, making it a late Georgian or early William IV example in excellent condition. 2" in diameter
