Description
A wonderful early pair of antique Old Sheffield Plate meat or food domes, very elegant and in magnificent condition for their age.
Each has an engraved cartouche both sides and a very lavish handle. Each has a full mark for Samuel Mearbeck of 400 Oxford Street (London) which is today the site of world famous Selfridge's store opened in 1909.
This pair dates to the George III era, from 1812 - 1820.
