Description
A beautiful Edwardian English sterling silver jewellery or trinket box standing on four wonderful legs with a shell motif to the top and paw feet. The shaped lid is domed with a pretty raised border outlining the shape.
There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1908 together with the makers initials for the silversmith, T.H. Hazlewood & Co. The inside of the lid is lavishly gilded and the box retains it's original red silk in very good condition, the interior measuring 4 1/2" x 2". The overall size measuring 4 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" tall. Excellent quality and condition.
