A rare find, I have never seen one of these highly coveted Austrian Cold Painted figural inkwells in the form of a Doberman before, most unusual. Beautifully cast with wonderful detail, the paint is in superb condition and he still retains his original two glass eyes.
The lid opens to reveal the ink chamber within.
Dating to the late Victorian era, around 1890. 4" x 3" x 4" tall.
