Description

A handsome vintage English Ice Bucket in Silver Plate by the creme de la creme of English silversmith's, Elkington & Co. The bucket is in the form of a wooden coopered bucket or pail with a swing handle.
It comes complete with it's original drainer where water will drain to the bottom, keeping the ice dry. The underside is where the full set of marks can be found; being Elkington we are able to date it accurately with the B inside the shield for the year 1938.
Excellent used condition. The base measuring 4" in diameter and the rim, 5". Stands 5" tall to rim or 8" to top of handle while upright.
