stunning little jewellery ring box silver and tortoiseshell

Description

Pretty as a picture, this adorable sterling silver box stands on four elegant little legs. The top is inset with a wonderful piece of blonde Tortoise Shell with pretty markings and a good bright and glossy patina.
The shell is inlaid with a wonderful pique inlay and framed with a raised border to the edge of the lid.
Once the hinged lid is opened, the wonderful original silk lining is revealed. The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 coming up to 100 years old. The makers mark is also present for Boots Pure Drug Company.
Excellent condition measuring 1 5/8" in diameter x 1 5/8" tall.
