Description

An outstanding late Victorian inkstand in a wonderful Art Nouveau design. The base is made from English polished brass with stylised leaves applied together with one large Dragonfly to the front, beautifully made and executed.
The inkwell is exceptional quality, fine heavy English crystal with intricate hand-cutting with a hinged lid to the top.
Dating to around 1890, it remains in superb condition and not over-polished. The base measures 7" x 6 1/2" and stands 5" tall.
