Description

Pretty as a picture, this small jewellery or ring box is made from English sterling silver with a full hallmark for Birmingham 1910, late Edwardian in era. The makers initials are also present for the highly collectable silversmith, William Comyns.
The box stands on four very elegant tall legs. The top is inset with a delightful period piece of Tortoiseshell inlaid with silver pique decoration incorporating musical motifs.
The interior of the box is beautifully lined in a blue silk.
Excellent condition, measuring 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 2" tall.
