Description
A handsome and heavy ice pail or bucket, get your tongs ready and serve up your favourite cocktails. The bucket retains it's original silver plated pierced drainer which sits in the bottom on three legs, allowing melted ice to drip to the bottom keeping the ice dry.This example is fully marked by the top-notch silversmith, Mappin and Webb of London and Sheffield.
Dating to c.1920, it remains in excellent condition with a rim diameter measuring 5 1/4" x 5 1/2" tall to top of rim and 8 1/2" tall to top of handle while upright.
