Description

A handsome and highly collectable jam or preserve jar by the made from faceted and cut glass with silver plated fittings signed by the famous Hukin and Heath.
The handle is pushed down automatically lifting the lid. The patent number can be seen on the interior mechanism.
Dating to the early Art Deco period, around 1920. Excellent undamaged condition measuring 3" in diameter x 3 5/8" tall or 5 1/2" tall to top of upright handle.
