Description
A highly sought-after miniature jewellery trunk, perfect for either a lady or gentleman.Made from fruitwood, it is intricately hand-carved in the from of a trunk including straps to the sides and straps to the top, trimmed in polished brass.
The front has a brass mounted escutcheon and comes complete with a working key. The inside has been professionally re-lined to create a fresh interior ready to use. The box is unsigned but these were usually made by Seugnot of Paris
An absolute jewel in superb condition. 8 3/4" x 5 1/2" x 3 3/4" tall.
