Description

A wonderful set of six desert, fruit or cake forks sitting in a presentation box, these would make a wonderful gift.
The forks are made from sterling silver, made by the silversmith, John Gilbert, each hallmarked for Birmingham 1862. This set is also lucky enough to have the Queen Victoria's head duty mark, always sought-after by silver collectors.
The handles are made from thick solid Mother of Pearl, with it's glossy patina and iridescent qualities, beautifully carved.
Excellent condition with each fork measuring 7 1/4" in length and the box measuring 8 1/4" x 6 1/8" x 1 1/4".
