Description

A magnificent top quality and very heavy jewelry casket or box made from cast bronze or brass, polished to gleam.
The box with it's rounded corners has beautiful panels of hand engraved decoration and a Wedgwood jasper plaque inset in the centre of the lid.
The box comes complete with an ornate working key and once opened, the re-lined interior is revealed, professionally finished in a navy blue velvet.
Top quality and condition measuring 9 3/4" x 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" tall. Victorian in era, dating to c.1860.
