A beautiful vintage English sterling silver match strike made from a good solid gauge of sterling silver decorated on the top with a fabulous rich blue guilloche enamel with a bright glossy patina showcasing the intricate engine turned decoration below.
The case opens to reveal a gilded interior and a match book that sits inside (this has to be removed for shipping). Under the book is where the full English hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1929 together with the maker's initials for the silversmith, Albert Carter.
Excellent condition measuring 2 1/2" x 1 5/8" x 3/8" thick.
