I sell many of these wonderful antique toast racks which end up on top of the desk as novelty letter racks or even business card holders, this one is larger than the sterling ones, so would lend itself well to holding your letters.
Most unusual with the base in the form of a wishbone and even the handle. Sitting on four ball feet the underside is marked EPNS for Electro Plated Nickel Silver.
Dating to around 1890 it remains in excellent condition measuring 5 1/2" in length x 5 1/2" tall to top of handle.
