A stunning box in a stunning and highly sought-after colour, a delightful amethyst or rich lavender.
The small box would make a perfect pill box with a lavishly gilded interior and even the original mirror to the inside of the lid.
The enamel is perfect with a bright patina showcasing the fine and intricate engine turned decoration below. The box has a maker's mark of PHV and a 925 mark indicating sterling silver. There is also an English import mark for London 1925.
Excellent condition measuring 1 3/4" in diameter x 5/8".
