Description

Pretty as a picture, this superb little pill box has a beautiful hinged lid featuring Cherub or Putti figures, after Reynold's Angels.
The lid fits well and when opened reveals a gilded interior. The full English hallmark can be found for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the year 1902, early Edwardian in era. The maker's initials are also present for the silversmith, W J Myatt & Co Ltd.
Excellent condition measuring 1 1/4" x 3/4".
