Description

A handsome and highly sought-after automated jam or preserve server in heavy crystal and silver plate. When the handle is pushed to the back the lid lifts to reveal a double compartment jar with two individual heavy crystal liners.
The underside is stamped by the highly regarded English silversmith, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co.
Complete with a pair of highly decorative foliate spoons, marked EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver).
Dating to c.1900 it remains in superb condition. The footprint measures 4 1/2" x 4" x 6" tall to top of handle.
