Description
A handsome circular 12" drinks tray / salver with a great look with engine turned decoration and incorporating an engraved belt and buckle design, very English and very late Victorian.
The edge of the salver has a lovely ribbon and reed raised border. The underside incorporates three little feet and is where the full mark can be found for the silversmith, Harrison Brothers and Howson of Sheffield. The company used the "Alpha" trademark for some of their silver plated items.
The perfect tray for both a traditional and contemporary interior dating to c.1890/1900. 12" in diameter.
