Description

A wonderful little scent bottle made from crystal with a really pretty engraved floral and foliate border decorating the glass two thirds from the base, it was a little hard to capture in the photographs. The shoulder is step-cut up towards the screw cap on the top.
The cap is solid or sterling silver and hallmarked for London 1922, the interior is fitted with a cork interior to keep the precious contents from evaporating.
The top of the cap is decorated with a wonderful and highly decorative tablet of antique tortoise shell and inlaid with a pretty and intricate silver pique inlay.
Excellent condition and measuring 3 3/4" tall.
