boxed set antique english bone and ebony dominoes c1910

Description

A charming set of late Edwardian dominoes or dominos, all in good condition with a handsome polished wooden storage box with a sliding lid.
The set is better than most with a quality finish, each Domino with canted edges, the bone and Ebony pinned together with small brass pins. The underside of the box is lucky to have an old penned inscription for February 1910 and Cairo; perhaps this was taken on a Grand Tour or gifted in Cairo.
The box measures 7" x 2 1/2" x 2 5/8" tall. Each domino measures 1 3/4" x 1". Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age.
