Description
A stunning and most unusual late Victorian wine cooler made from solid English Oak in the form of a coopered bucket or pail, with silver plated fittings including two very elegant handles.
There is a silver plated removable liner. The base of the Oak is stamped with the initials of the maker H.B for the silversmith, Henry H. Bourne (18 and 19 Ludgate Hill, Birmingham).
Excellent condition spanning 6 3/4" handle to handle x 9 1/4" tall to top of handles.
